WHEREAS, Contract documents for the Improvements to be constructed <br />within the incorporated limits of the City of Redwood City have been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement between the City of San Carlos and the City <br />of Redwood City, for the improvement of Veterans Boulevard, Redwood City, <br />has been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval of the agreement <br /> <br />with the City of San Carlos for the improvement of Veterans Boulevard. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Construction Agreement for the <br /> Improvement of Veterans Boulevard Between State Highway 101 and the <br /> Proposed Project Limits Approximately 670 Feet Southerly of City Limits in the <br /> Redwood City Area" between the City of San Carlos, a municipal corporation of <br /> the State of California, and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br /> the State of California, for the construction of improvements on Veterans <br /> Boulevard, within the incorporated limits of the City of Redwood City, to which <br /> copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br /> and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of <br /> the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> Reso-278 2 <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> FXS:/fs <br /> 08/23/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
