7/6/83 ORIGINAL RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9403 JUL 2 5 1983 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH POLICE YOUTH CLUB OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, INC. WHEREAS, Police Youth Club of Redwood City, Califor- nla, Inc. has been established for the principal purpose of providing recreational and educational activities for youth in Redwood City; and WHEREAS, Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commen- cing July 1, 1983 and ending June 30, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. the sum of Nine Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($9,000.00); and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 7/6/83), by and between the City of Redwood City and Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc., a copy of which agree- ment is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars there- of, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 9403
