<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />ASSISTANT CENTER SUPERVISOR <br /> <br />DEFINITION: <br /> <br />Under direction, to perfonn responsible recreation work in planning, <br />promoting various recreation programs directed tONard teen interests, <br />assisting in the developnent and supervision of a diversion and <br />delinquency prevention program; assisting with maintenance and up <br />keep of equipment used in recreation programs; preparing prc:mo- <br />tional material for programs; supervising and directing the evening <br />program at the recreation center M::>nday through Friday evenings. <br /> <br />MllUMUM QUALIFICATIONS <br /> <br />LICENSE: <br /> <br />Possession of an appropriate California operators license issued <br />by the State Department of MJtor Vehicles. <br /> <br />KN<Jr.7LEDGE OF: <br /> <br />Objectives, rrethods, and techniques of planned recreation; major <br />sports and other recreational activities suitable for youth, teens <br />and adults. <br />Community organizations and resources; First Aid; <br /> <br />ABILITY 'ill: <br /> <br />Organize and direct the activities of groups using the Recreation <br />Center; speak effectively and prepare reports and correspondence, <br />
