0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13180 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County is a private, non-profit <br />organization that provides a partnership between several local school districts, health and <br />human services organizations, the County of San Mateo, and local community volunteers who are <br />dedicated to helping young people make healthy life choices, which services are in furtherance <br />of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County, has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />1997 and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County to provide financial assistance in <br /> <br />furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
