Redwood City Downtown Precise Plan
City of Redwood City
March 7, 2007
03~L2 a~~~07
Mitigation Monitoring Checklist
Page 2
development and environmental review procedures for discretionary projects. In such private
development cases in the Precise Plan area, applicable EIR-identified mitigation requirements
can be implemented and verified by the City as conditions of project approval.
For public facility and infrastructure improvement actions (e.g., streetscape, public plaza,
roadway, and wastewater system improvements), implementation of applicable E!R-identified
mitigation requirements will be the responsibility of the infrastructure provider (e.g., the City or
appropriate service district}, and will be implemented by that provider through incorporation into
the improvement design, construction, and operation. In many cases (as identified in the
mitigation monitoring checklist), individual private developments will be required to fund their
fair-share of the improvements.
PERIODIC MITIGATION STATUS REPORT (opfionalJ
City staff will conduct a biennial review of mitigation measure implemen#ation for specific private
and public projects that are subject to this mitigation moni#oring program, and will summarize
the s#atus of such implementation in a report submitted to the Redwood City City Council every
two years. The summary report will cover the two immediately preceding fiscal years.
MITIGATION MONITORING CHECKLIST
Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15097, the attached mitigation monitoring checklist
identifies: (1) each significant impact and associated mitigation measure included in the EIR,
(2) the entity responsible for implementing that mitigation measure, (3) the entity responsible for
performing the mitigation monitoring and verification, and {4) implementation timing
requirements. In addition, the checklist includes a verification column with space for the
signature and date of the "monitoring and verification" entity when a monitoring milestone is
completed.
Atty/Reso/Reso.1683
030707
14769
Muff #613
U.•IMy t?ocumentslDowntown Precise PlantCC staff reporfs4CC 3.12.doclMit.monitoringlntro - 655.doc
