O R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13178 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Sor Juana Ines <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sor Juana Ines is a private, non-profit organization that provides individual <br />counseling assistance for women and their children, which services are in furtherance of the <br />public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sor Juana Ines, has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting <br />its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Sor Juana Ines to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Sor Juana Ines a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
