0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13166 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services is a private, non-profit organization that <br />provides assistance to individuals in San Mateo County who are HIV infected, which services are <br />in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services, has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June <br />30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services to provide financial assistance in furtherance of <br />its public purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
