0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> (O8/25/97) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13163 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula is a private, non-profit organization <br />that provides after school and summer programs to kids 6-18 years of age, whom live in <br />Redwood City and the North Fair Oaks area, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997 and ending <br />June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br /> agreement with Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula to provide financial assistance in <br /> <br /> furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
