PROJECT Ii�IITIATION <br /> T"he project initiation task for the ETR will provide an opp�rtunity for the LSA tearn to collaborate and <br /> strategize with City staff,as well as the applicant and applicant's consultants, if appropriate, to refine <br /> our recommended approach, work program and schedule as warranted. <br /> 1. Start-Up Meeting <br /> LSA will meet with the City to discuss expectations rcgarding the tasks to be undertaken as part of <br /> the preparation of an EIR for The Preserve at Redwood Shor.es. As part of these meetings, LSA will <br /> want to: <br /> • Gather relevant information and data if there is information we have not yet received. <br /> • Discuss the City's desired approach to involve thc various City departme:i�ts and property ow�iers <br /> during preparation of The EIR and review of the administrative and screencheck draffs. <br /> • I,earn about other development planned in the City. <br /> • Discuss tlae City's desired schedule for the p.(annir�g process. <br /> 2. S1tC VISL1'IFiEIfl Slii'VE�' <br /> As one of the initial steps, LSA will undertake a site visit with as many members of LSA's teatn as <br /> possible to observe and photograph the project site. LSA staff will identify existing conditions, study <br /> area features, and confirm information provided <br /> in previous studies. We encourage attendance by Ciry staff and the property owners or their <br /> representatives at our initial site visit to allow for sharing of observations. <br /> 3. Data Gathering and Evaluation <br /> Existing data and analyses applicable to the proposed project wiil be collected and evaluated in order <br /> to gain an understanding of the available infozmation that will be used as part of the environmental <br /> review.
