0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13158 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR CITY HALL <br /> STANDBY ELECTRICAL GENERATOR, DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF BID SECURITY; APPROVING REVISED CONTRACT <br /> DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13116 adopted June 23, 1997, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the City Hall Standby Electrical Generator <br />in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, four bids were received; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids (including the <br />apparent lowest responsible bid) were non-responsive, and that the bid <br />documents require clarification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to exercise its <br />reserved right to reject all bids, to approve the revised contract documents and <br /> <br />direct the City Clerk to readvertise for bids for the work therein described; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
