_ ORIGINAL _ <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> DAYBREAK SHELTER FOR HOMELESS YOUTH <br /> <br /> (YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br /> ! <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this f~'~ day of <br />rat'i 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> on of the State of California, (City), and YOUTH AND FAMILY <br /> <br />ASSISTANCE, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a shelter for homeless youth who reside in the <br />City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Twenty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> I. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Twenty <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, solely for the purposes <br />described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> <br />
