NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby acknowledges the intent of the City of Redwood <br />City to participate in Spare the Air by educating and encouraging its employees <br />and other public and private employers and organizations in the City to <br />participate in the Spare the Air campaign. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to implement the <br />following Spare the Ak practices and policies: <br /> <br /> (a) Establishment of a relaxed dress code policy for Spare the Air <br /> <br />days. <br /> <br /> (b) Distribution of a residential informational mailing to the citizens of <br />Redwood City on combating air pollution and traffic congestion. <br /> <br /> 3.
