Frustrated by stalling <br />on the feclel'allevel, local leaders are moving for- <br />ward with innovative energy solutions that cut <br />our dependence 011 oil, benefit public health, <br />and save taxpayer dollars. These mayors, county <br />commissioners, and governors are leading the <br />way toward a safer and more secure future. <br />The purpose of this guide is to provide a <br />resow'ce for citizens and local officials who are <br />ready to take real action to reduce energy waste <br />and heat-trapping global warming pollution in <br />their communities.
