The vice chairperson shall assume and perform the duties of the chair in the <br />chairperson's absence. <br /> <br />Sec.25.4.09 Referral of matters to Commission: All matters pertaining to parks, <br />playgrounds, recreation establishments, recreation facilities and similar matters coming <br />before the City Council or City Manager shall be referred by them to the Commission for its <br />recommendations and suggestions. (Ord. No. 525, S 8; Ord. No. 1464, S 5, 7-27~1970) <br /> <br />Sec. 25.4.10 Committees; Appointment, members and duties: From time to time, <br />the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission may appoint committees, the <br />membership of which shall be composed of a commissioner, as chairperson, and such other <br />persons, either members of the commission or otherwise who may be selected by the <br />Commission. Such committees shall study to the extent and purpose defined by the <br />Commission. After making its report, the committee shall be dissolved. It may be extended <br />only by vote of the Commission <br /> <br />Sec. 25.4.11 Annual appropriation; Use of City property: The City Council shall <br />yearly appropriate such monies, and allow the use of such City property, real and personal, <br />as the City Council may deem necessary for the purpose of carrying on the activities of the <br />Park, Recreation, and Community Services Commission.
