0 R I G I N A L 7/28/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13137 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CARSON STREET <br /> SEWER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13113, adopted June 23, 1997, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Carson Street Sewer Main Replacement <br />Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, nine bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, D'Arcy & Harty Construction, Inc. of San Francisco, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to award said bid to D'Arcy & Harty Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of D'Arcy & Harty Construction, Inc. in the amount of Eight <br />Hundred Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Forty-nine and No/100 Dollars <br />($813,249.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated July 16, <br />1997 for the Carson Street Sewer Main Replacement Project, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> Reso-246 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> 07/21/97 <br /> F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> <br /> <br />
