<br />CGM. g-c 4/13/83 <br /> <br />O R.. ! r:! ~'JAL <br />. ;, \...1 . _ , <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 3:3 0 <br /> <br />APR 1 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTP~CT FOR THE FURNISHING <br />AND INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLERS AND <br />MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has suspended the purchasing <br /> <br />requirements of Article VII (commencing with Section 2.63) of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code in regard to the furnishing <br /> <br />and installation of traffic signal controllers because traffic <br /> <br />controllers which are compatible with the existing traffic <br /> <br />signal system are available from a single source; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Multisonics, Inc., Dublin, California, has <br /> <br />offered to enter into an agreement with this City pursuant to <br /> <br />which Multisonics, Inc. would furnish and install traffic <br /> <br />signal controllers and miscellaneous related equipment at <br /> <br />Veterans Boulevard and Main Street and Veterans Boulevard and <br /> <br />Walnut Street, and it is the intention of this Council to enter <br /> <br />into an agreement for such equipment and services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Multisonics, Inc. entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />4/13/83), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> <br />herein by reference, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9330 <br />
