<br />DFS:djg-c <br />>:djg-c <br /> <br />3/28/83 <br />3/28/83R <br /> <br />at the highest written bid theretofore received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bennie Berman has submitted the highest <br /> <br />auction bid and this Council desires to accept said bid and <br /> <br />authorize conveyance of the property to said to highest auction <br /> <br />bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds and determines the bid of <br /> <br />Mr. Bennie Berman, of Redwood City, California, in the amount of <br /> <br />Forty Thousand One Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($40,100.00) is the <br /> <br />highest responsible auction bid for the sale of that certain <br /> <br />parcel of surplus City-owned real property described in Resolution <br /> <br />No. 9292, abovementioned, as Parcel No.1, bearing Assessor's <br /> <br />Parcel No. 054-030-010, and this Council does hereby accept said <br /> <br />bid; provided, however, that said bidder shall have deposited not <br /> <br />less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid with the City Clerk <br /> <br />by cash, cashier's check or certified check on or before 5:00 <br /> <br />o'clock p.m. on March 29, 1983; and provided, further, that the <br /> <br />balance of said purchase price shall have likewise been deposited <br /> <br />with the City Clerk in accordance with the terms and conditions of <br /> <br />the bid documents approved pursuant to Resolution No. 9292 <br /> <br />aforesaid. <br /> <br />2 <br />
