Q. 9 ~~ 1 6 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SALE OF PARCEL OF <br />CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF <br />ELM STREET AND LATHROP STREET; AND AUTHORIZING <br />CONVEYANCE THEREOF <br /> <br />MAR 7 1983 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9292, adopted January 24, 1983, <br /> <br />this Council determined that the two parcels of real property <br /> <br />described therein are not needed for present or prospective <br /> <br />municipal or public purposes and authorized the City Clerk to <br /> <br />advertise the sale thereof and call for bids thereon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has, in accordance with Section <br /> <br />3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, appraised <br /> <br />each of said two parcels and determined their current market <br /> <br />value, and this Council has established a minimum acceptable <br /> <br />bid equal to or exceeding ninety percent (90%) of the appraised <br /> <br />value of said property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call for bids and the notice of <br /> <br />sale, the City has advertised for sealed bids and this Council <br /> <br />has conducted a public auction on one of said parcels of real <br /> <br />property, and wishes to award the bid therefor to the highest <br /> <br />bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
