Amendments to the Redevelopment Plan applying <br /> to property outside of the Project Site shaii nat require the consent of Developer. . <br /> §105 The Redevelooment Area _ _ <br /> The Redwood City Redevelopinent Project Area No. 2 is comprised of three non- <br /> contiguous-sub-areas covering i acres-located in the City, as more pazticulazly shown in <br /> Attachment 2 hereto (the "Redevelopment Area'�. The three non-coatiguous sub-areas include <br /> the "Marina Subarea," "Seaport Subazea," and "Downtown Subarea" <br /> §106 The Proiect Site <br /> T'he Project Site is that portion of ihe Downtown Subarea of Redevelopment Project Area <br /> the boundary of which is shown on Attachment 3. The pazcels comprising the Project Site are <br /> described in Article 2 of this Agreement. <br /> §107 The Proiect <br /> The Pmject eonsists of construction on the Project Site of a two-level retail-cinema <br /> project, with approximately 55,000 squaze feet of retail shop and resfaurant space on the ground <br /> level, a 20-screen, 4,200-seat theatre on the second level, and approximately 590 pazking spaces <br /> located in an undergound pazking facility on the Project Site that extends beneath the adjacent <br /> Middlefield Road right-of-way. The City will use its best efforts and legally available means to <br /> provide additional pazking as more particulazly described in the Pazking Facilities Agreement. <br /> The final project design and plans aze subject to approval by the City as contemplated by <br /> this Agreement <br /> §108 The Aeencv <br /> The Agency is a public body, corporate and politic, exercising governmental functions <br /> and powers and organized and existing under the CRL. The principal office of the Agency is <br /> located at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, Califomia 94063. "Agency", as used in this <br /> Agreement, includes the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, Califomia, and <br /> any assignee of or successor to its rights, powers and responsibilities. <br /> §109 The Ci <br /> The City is a municipal corporatior of the State of Califomia.
