Such amount shall be <br /> adjusted for increases in the cost of living in accordance with Code Section 401(a)(17), <br /> except tha* the dollar increase in effect on January 1 of any calendar year shall be <br /> effective for the Plan Year beginni.ng with or within such calendar year. For any short <br /> Plan Year the Compensation limit shall be an amount equal to the Compensation Iimit for <br /> the calendar year in which the Plan Year begins multiplied by a ratio obtained by <br /> dividing ihe number of full months in the short Plan Year by twelve (12). <br /> "Effective Date" means January 28, 2003. <br /> "Eligible Employee" means all of those Employees of the Employer who meet <br /> the requirements of section 1.1 hereof. <br /> "Eligible Class of Employees" means the eligible class of employees as provided <br /> herein and in the applicable governing board policies and regulations promulgated <br /> thereunder by the Employer. <br /> "Employee" means an employee of the Employer. <br /> "Employer" means City of Redwood City that has adopted this Plan. <br /> "Employer Contribution" means contributions made to the Plan by the <br /> Employer. <br /> "Fiscal Year" means July 1 through June 30. <br /> 14 <br /> NB 1:5381802 <br /> _.. __ _ _ <br />
