0 R I G I N A L 6/23/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13110 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SANDPIPER PARK <br /> COMMUNITY CENTER; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13099, adopted June 2, 1997, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Sandpiper Park Community Center, <br />Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, D.L. Falk Construction, Inc., of So. San Francisco, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to award said bid of D.L. Falk Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of D.L. Falk Construction, Inc. in the amount of Two Million <br />Seven Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars <br />($2,729,500.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 11, <br />1997 for the Sandpiper Park Community Center, is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br /> <br /> 2.
