that said Board of Trustees order consolidation of said District's election with the <br /> <br />General Municipal Election of the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, adopted April 11, 1994, a General <br />Municipal Election shall be held on November 4, 1997, for the purpose of <br />electing three (3) Councilmembers for the full term of four (4) years each. <br /> <br /> 2. The Board of Trustees of the Redwood City Elementary School District <br />is hereby requested, pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code Sections <br />10402 and 10403, to consolidate the General Municipal Election of the City of <br />Redwood City with the School District Election of said District to be held on <br />November 4, 1997. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish, or cause to <br />be published, in the official newspaper of the City of Redwood City, in the time, <br />form, and manner required by law, notice of the aforesaid General Municipal <br />Election. <br /> <br /> 4.
