<br />SWC:mf 9/29/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9240 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 4 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL <br />SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE <br />CERTAIN DESIGNATED VEHICLES <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on <br /> <br />motion duly made on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) <br /> <br />members of said Council, suspended the requirements of Article <br /> <br />VII of Chapter 2 of said Code relating to the purchase of <br /> <br />materials, equipment and supplies with regard to the purchase <br /> <br />hereinafter authorized. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby authorize the Office of <br /> <br />Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of <br /> <br />California to purchase nine (9) police patrol vehicles for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City pursuant to Section 14814 <br /> <br />of the California Government Code. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to sign and deliver to said Department of General Services all <br /> <br />necessary requests and other documents in connection with the <br /> <br />purchase authorized herein for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9240 <br />
