0 R I G I N A L 6/2/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13101 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> APPROVING AND AUTORIZING EXECUTION OF THE EIGHTH <br /> AMENDMENT OF THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE MEZES PLAZA PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br />(the "Agency) and Mezes Group, Inc., a California corporation (the <br />"Developer") have negotiated an Eighth Amendment (the "Amendment") to that <br />certain agreement entitled "Disposition and Development Agreement for the <br />Mezes Plaza Project," as amended (the "DDA"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (the "City") is a party to the DDA to <br />the limited extent that the City is to contribute to the Project an easement eight <br />(8") feet in width for underground parking under the portion of Broadway that <br />abuts the Project Site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the Amendment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> This Council hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor and the <br /> <br />City Clerk to execute and to attest, respectively, that certain Amendment <br />entitled "Eighth Amendment of Disposition and Development Agreement for the <br />Mezes Plaza Project" on behalf of the City of Redwood City, such execution to <br />bind the City to the limited extent set forth in the DDA and the Amendment <br />thereto. <br /> <br /> <br />
