<br />CGM:djg-c 9/21/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9235 <br /> <br />SEP 2 7 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR DOWNTOWN LIGHTING PROJECT - <br />1982 IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER <br />BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9195, adopted August <br /> <br />23, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for Downtown Lighting <br /> <br />Project - 1982 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arc Electric Company, Burlingame, California, <br /> <br />lS the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Arc Electric <br /> <br />Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Arc Electric Company in the sum of Ninety- <br /> <br />six Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-six and No/I00 Dollars <br /> <br />($96,766.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated September 21, 1982, for Downtown Lighting Project - 1982 <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />9235 <br />
