<br />05/07/2007 <br /> <br />J. A statement or graphical description as to whether the sign, or any part of <br />it, is to be used for changeable or changing copy or mOYing images; <br /> <br />K. A statement or graphical description as to whether the proposed sign, or <br />any part of it, s proposed to utilize any of the following physical methods of message <br />presentation: sound or odor; smoke or fumes or steam; rotating or moving elements; <br />activation by wind or forced air; neon or other fluorescing gases; flashing or strobe <br />lighting; liquid crystal displays, digital images, LED images or other video-like methods; <br />use of live animals or living persons as part of the display; <br /> <br />L. A statement as to whether the property or parcel on which the sign is <br />proposed to be erected or displayed, or any currently existing sign thereon, is the <br />subject of any outstanding notice of zoning violation or notice to correct; <br /> <br />M. Photographs of the existing property, parcel andlor building on which the <br />sign is proposed to be erected or displayed, showing the location(s) of the existing and <br />proposed sign(s). <br /> <br />Sec. 3.64. VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a sign <br />permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of <br />the provisions of this Article or of any other provision of this Code. Permits presuming <br />to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this Article or other provisions of <br />this Code shall not be valid. The issuance of a sign permit based on plans, <br />specifications and other data shall not prevent the Director from thereafter requiring the <br />correction of errors in said plans, specifications and other data, or from preventing <br />building operations being carried on thereunder when in violation of this Article or of any <br />other provision of this Code. <br /> <br />Sec. 3.65. EXPIRATION OF PERMIT: Every sign permit issued by the Director <br />under the provisions of this Article shall expire by limitation and become null and void if <br />the work authorized by such permit is not commenced within one year (1) from the date <br />of such permit, or if the work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at <br />any time after the work is commenced for a period of one year (1). Before such work <br />can be recommenced, a new permit shall be first obtained to do so and the fee therefor <br />shall be one-half the amount required for a new permit for such work, provided no <br />changes have been made or will be made in the original plans and specifications for <br />such work and provided further that such suspension or abandonment has not <br />exceeded one year. In order to renew action on a permit after expiration, the permittee <br />shall pay a new full permit fee. <br /> <br />Any permittee holding an unexpired permit may apply for an extension of the time <br />within which work may commence under that permit when the permittee is unable to <br />commence work within the time required by this section for reasons beyond the control <br />of the permittee.
