o ~, I c :1 [q _A_ I~ 6/2/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13099 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE SANDPIPER <br /> PARK COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT, DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF BID SECURITY; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br /> READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13058, adopted April 21, 1997, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Sandpiper Park Community Center <br />Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, five bids were received; <br /> <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids (including the <br /> apparent lowest responsible bid) were non-responsive, that the bid documents <br /> require clarification; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to exercise its <br /> reserved right to reject all bids and to authorize and direct the City Clerk to <br /> readvertise for bids for the work therein described; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
