0 R I G I N A L 5/19/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13094 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECU'FION <br /> OF LEASE AGREEMENT FOR LAND CONSISTING OF A <br /> PORTION OF THE SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1400 RADIO ROAD, REDWOOD CITY, <br /> FOR A MUNICIPAL MAINTENANCE FACILITY SITE <br /> <br /> (SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 17, 1997, the City Council authorized by motion <br /> <br />(M. O. 97-1053) the City Manager to respond to the South Bayside Sewer <br />Authority's call for bids for the leasing of a portion of the South Bayside System <br />Authority property (the "Leased Premises~), more particularly described <br />hereinafter, for a municipal maintenance facility site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager caused a bid to be presented to the South <br />Bayside System Authority ("SBSA") for the Leased Premises in the sum of <br /> <br />$8,000 per year, subject to CPI increases, for a period of thirty (30) years; and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 6, 1997, SBSA approved the City's bid; <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "South Bayside System Authority <br /> Redwood 'City, Califomia- Lease Agreement" (form dated 4/09/97) by and <br /> between the South Bayside System Authority and the City of Redwood City, a <br /> copy of which agreement and the associated legal description of the leased real <br /> property are on file in the office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is <br /> hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; and the City <br /> <br /> <br />
