WHEREAS, adoption and implementation of the proposed Fourth <br />Amendment will not result in subjecting or re-subjecting properties within <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 or the Fourth Amendment Sub-Area in which <br />low and moderate income persons reside to acquisition by the Agency <br /> <br />through use of eminent domain authority. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council finds and determines that the proposed <br />Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project <br />No. 2 will not result in subjecting or re-subjecting properties within <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 or the Fourth Amendment Sub-Area in which <br />low and moderate income persons reside to acquisition by the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City with eminent domain <br />authority, and that formation of a project area committee is not required prior <br />to the adoption of the Fourth Amendment. The City Council further <br />determines that a project area committee shall not be formed in connection <br />with the Fourth Amendment. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br />is hereby authorized and directed to consult with and obtain the advice of <br />residents, property owners, and community organizations (if any) within <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 and to provide such residents, owners and <br />organizations with the proposed Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment <br />Plan prior to its submission to the City Council. <br /> <br /> AK/DES:5/1/97 <br /> CC No-Pac Reso v.4 <br /> <br /> <br />
