<br />8/2/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9179 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SAN MATEO COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT <br />(R.S.V.P.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, San Mateo County Community College District <br /> <br />(R.S.V.P.) has been established for the principal purpose <br /> <br />of providing volunteer placement services for Senior Citizens <br /> <br />ln the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, San Mateo County Community College District <br /> <br />(R.S.V.P.) has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br /> <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1982 and ending June 30, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to San Mateo County Community College Dis- <br /> <br />trict (R.S.V.P.) the sum of Four Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty- <br /> <br />Five and No/IOO Dollars ($4,725.00);and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for ap- <br /> <br />proval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and San Mateo <br /> <br />County Community College District (R.S.V.P.), and it is the in- <br /> <br />tention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/2/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and San Mateo County Community College <br /> <br />District (R.S.V.P.), a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Q '1. r'1 n <br />v g U <br />
