<br />CGM:mf 8/4/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9173 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF RETENTION BASIN, INLET CHANNEL FENCING, <br />AND ACCESS ROADS; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br />FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council, acting <br /> <br />through and by means of powers exercisable by Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvenlent District No. 1-64, certain plans and specifications <br /> <br />for the construction of a retention basin, inlet channel fencing, and <br /> <br />access roads in the Redwood Shores area of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said plans and <br /> <br />specifications and to authorize the City Clerk to call for bids <br /> <br />for the construction of said improvement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Construction Drawings for <br /> <br />Retention Basin, Inlet Channel Fencing and Access Roads," and <br /> <br />those certain specifications entitled "Contract Documents and <br /> <br />Technical Specifications - Retention Basin and Inlet Channel Fencing <br /> <br />and Access Roads," prepared in the office of the Department of <br /> <br />Public Works, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the abovementioned <br /> <br />improvement, in accordance with the plans and specificJtiJl) <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisemcntto be in the fonJ of thc~t eel 0, (_~, I <br /> <br />"Notice to Contractors" set forth in the abovementioned <br /> <br />specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9173 <br />
