Council requested to be copied on the response. <br /> <br />Geri Mayers thanked the City Council for their support in disseminating flags showing <br />solidarity/patriotism following the September 11,2001 attack. Mayers also shared that people <br />donated money by buying more than 5,000 flags and this money was going to the victims of the <br />attack. Mayers thanked Paul Sanfilipo for his help. <br />Mayor Ruskin thanked Geri Mayers, the Peninsula Association Celebration, City staff, Dr. Jeff <br />Filipi, and especially Gary Hover and Charles Jany for placing a flag on the downtown <br />Redwood City arch. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be <br />enacted by one motion and one vote.
