<br />swr 1jg-C 8/04/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />1-\ u Li ~ljdL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9169 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF <br />STREETS ON WEED ABATEMENT; OVERRULING PROTESTS <br />THERETO; AND AUTHORIZING ASSESSMENT OF THE COST <br />OF ABATEMENT AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 901l, adopted by the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City on December 7, 1981, the City <br /> <br />Superintendent of Streets of Redwood City was ordered to <br /> <br />abate the nuisance of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths <br /> <br />ln the City of Redwood Ci~y; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted <br /> <br />to this Council of the City of Redwood City for confirmation <br /> <br />an itemized report of the cost of the abatement of weeds, <br /> <br />dirt, rubbish and rank growths from or abutting each separate <br /> <br />parcel of land from which weeds, dirt, rubbish or rank growths <br /> <br />were removed, and a list of the expenses proposed to be assessed <br /> <br />against said parcels for said abatement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as appears from affidavits on file, the require- <br /> <br />ments for posting, publishing and mailing said reports or <br /> <br />portions thereof and the time and place of the hearing thereon <br /> <br />set forth in Section l4.48 of Article IV, Chapter 14 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City have been complied with in <br /> <br />the form and manner specified by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said hearing, opportunity was given for any <br /> <br />and all objections raised by any property owner liable to be <br /> <br />assessed for the work of abating weeds, dirt, rubbish and <br /> <br />rank growths to be heard by this Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />9169 <br />
