FOR SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM WHEREAS, Human Investment Projects Inc. is presently engaged in the operation of a Shared Housing Program and desires to conduct a Shared Housing Program to residents of the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, Human Investment Projects Inc. has requested financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1982, and ending June 30, 1983; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Human Investment Projects Inc. the sum of Fifteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Projects Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 7/6/82), by and between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Projects Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 9167
