DES:mf 7/22/82 DES:mf 7/26/82R RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 91 6 2 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ORDERING SUBMISSION OF A REFERENDUM MEASURE REGARDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PERTAINING TO AN AREA DESIGNATED "SOUTH SHORES" TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AT A SPECIAL ELECTION HEREIN CALLED FOR SUCH PURPOSE ON NOVEMBER 2, 1982; AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN ~~TEO TO CONSOLIDATE SAID ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON SAID DATE JUL 2 6 1982 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Clerk, having certified to this Council the results of her examination of a Referendum Petition with respect to Resolution No. 9131, adopted May 24, 1982 by this Council, and not having repealed said Resolution, in whole or in part, this Council does hereby order submission to the electors of the City of Redwood City at a special municipal election to be held in the City of Redwood City on Tuesday, November 2, 1982, the Referendum Ballot Measure hereinafter set forth. All electors of the City of Redwood City qualified to vote at the special municipal election in the City of Redwood City on November 2, 1982 shall be qualified to vote on the measure submitted hereby. The polls shall be opened at 7:00 A.M. on said day of the election and shall be kept open continuously thereafter until 8:00 P.M. of said day when the polls shall be closed, except as provided in ~14301 of the Elections Code, and the election officers shall thereupon proceed to canvass the ballots cast thereat. Where a voting system is used at said special municipal election, the provisions of Chapter 3 (commencing with ~15200), Division 11, of the Elections Code shall govern such usage, and 9162
