<br />CGM:djg-c <br /> <br />7/15/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUll 9 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 91 6 1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR VETERANS BOULEVARD <br />BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT - PHASE I IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9140, adopted June 14, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for Veterans Boulevard <br /> <br />Beautification Project - Phase I in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of Six Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Two Hundred Seventeen and <br /> <br />40/100 Dollars ($662,217.40) computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated July 13, 1982, for Veterans Boulevard <br /> <br />Beautification Project - Phase I is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />9161 <br />
