Authority operates and maintains sewerage treatment plant facilities ("Authority's <br />Treatment Plant") to serve Authority's Service Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, sanitary sewerage facilities do exist and are currently utilized <br />to transport sewage emanating from TCSAD through the District and through <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a proposed agreement by and between District <br />and the Town of Woodside ('~/oodside"; the "District - Woodside Agreement") <br />District will accept Woodside's sanitary sewage emanating from TCSAD and <br />transport said sewage through District's sanitary sewage facilities to City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Woodside must use City Sewerage Facilities for TCSAD <br />sewage to reach Authority Sewerage Facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City owns and has the rights of capacity and use of facilities <br />for the transmission, treatment, and disposal of sewage and desire to permit <br />Woodside the use of these facilities under the terms and conditions hereinafter <br />set forth in the Agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Capacity <br /> <br />Rights and Services (Town of Woodside)" (form dated .), by and <br /> <br /> between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California, the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District, and the Town of Woodside <br /> <br /> Reso-172 2 <br /> G:~shared~'edwood~council <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 04/14/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
