<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9122 <br /> <br />CGM:mf 5/12/82 <br />OD~rHJAL. <br />i \. ~ ,t"....~ Ii I 'Ii ' <br /> <br />MAY 1 7 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF TWO <br />AND ONE-HALF TON DUMP TRUCK WITH BODY EMULSION <br />SPRAYER AND TOOL CIRCUIT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9063, adopted March <br /> <br />8, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />a two and one-half ton dump truck, emulsion sprayer and tool <br /> <br />circuit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />South Bay Ford Truck Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales, in the total <br /> <br />lump sum of Thirty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-five and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($33,745.00), plus sales tax for the furnishing <br /> <br />of two and one-half ton dump truck with body emulsion sprayer <br /> <br />and tool circuit, in accordance with the bidding proposal, <br /> <br />and In accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute <br /> <br />an agreement with South Bay Ford Truck Sales for the furnishing <br /> <br />of the abovementioned equipment in accordance with, and subject <br /> <br />to, the terms and conditions of the aforementioned specifications <br /> <br />and in accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />3.
