<br />CGM:djg-c 5/12/82 <br /> <br />ODlr!~'i1\L <br />i\ lW~M <br /> <br />MAY 1 7 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 12 1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE TON <br />DUMP TRUCK WITH BODY AND EMULSION SPRAYER; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9063, adopted March 8, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a one <br /> <br />ton dump truck with body and emulsion sprayer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arata GMC Trucks, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Arata GMC Trucks; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Arata GMC Trucks, in the total lump sum of <br /> <br />Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-five and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($18,455.00), plus sales tax for the furnishing of one ton dump <br /> <br />truck with body and emulsion sprayer, in accordance with the <br /> <br />bidding proposal, and in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute <br /> <br />an agreement with Arata GMC Trucks for the furnishing of <br /> <br />the abovementioned equipment in accordance with, and subject <br /> <br />912,1 <br />
