<br />b) That procedures for the acqiuisition of components <br />of utility-owned street lighting systems be clarified <br />to facilitate their acquisition. <br /> <br />c) That utilities be required to permit use of their <br />utility poles without charge by a local agency for <br />the installation of street light fixtures of such <br />local agency. <br /> <br />d) That utilities be required to utilize a valuation <br />method for their street lighting facilities in <br />connection with purchases thereof by local agencies <br />that is based only on actual cost of the facilities <br />when installed less depreciation. <br /> <br />e) That utilities be required to permit any and all <br />forms of energy-efficient illumination, including <br />but not limited to, high and low pressure sodium <br />vapor street lights, upon request of a local agency. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
