0 R I G I N A L 5/12/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13080 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE JEFFERSON <br /> AVENUE UNDERPASS PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minute Order 97-026 duly made and carried by <br />this Council on February 10, 1997, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the <br />Jefferson Avenue Underpass Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dillingham Construction N.A., Inc. of Pleasanton, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Dillingham Construction N.A., Inc. subject to obtaining <br />additional funds from the San Mateo County Transportation Authority ("SMCA") <br /> <br />and/or, the State of California; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Dillingham Construction N.A., Inc., in the amount of Eight <br /> Million Four Hundred Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-eight and <br /> No/100 Dollars ($8,414,398.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> dated March 26, 1997 for the Jefferson Avenue Underpass Project, is hereby <br /> <br /> Reso-165 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> 04/07/97 <br /> G:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> <br /> <br />
