<br />CQ.1 .Jg-c 3/18/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />N o. 9 0 8 5 <br /> <br />APR 5 <br /> <br />1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPl'ING GRANT AWARD FROO OFFICE OF CRIMINAL <br />JUSTICE PLANNING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to undertake a certain <br /> <br />project designated Career Criminal Apprehension Program to be funded <br /> <br />in part from funds made available through State General Funds Fiscal <br /> <br />Year 81/82 as authorized by Chapter 1167 of the 1978 Statutes for the <br /> <br />Career Criminal Apprehension Program, administered by the Office of <br /> <br />Criminal Justice Plarming (hereinafter referred to as "OCJP"); <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RID'lCX)D CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLCWS: <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit the attached <br /> <br />Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is <br /> <br />authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City the attached <br /> <br />Grant Award for law enforcement purposes, including any extensions or <br /> <br />aIreIldrrv2nts thereof; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURI'HER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the City agrees to provide all matching funds required for <br /> <br />said project (including any extension or arrendment thereof) under the <br /> <br />Career Criminal Apprehension Program and the rules and regulations of <br /> <br />CCJP and that cash will be appropriated as required thereby; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURI'HER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supple- <br /> <br />ment law enforcement expenditures controlled by this body. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9085 <br />
