0 R I G I N A L 5/12/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13076 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING AND <br /> FINANCIAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> (SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the South Bayside System <br />Authority ("SBSA"), a public entity duly organized and existing under the laws of <br />the State of California, entered into an agreement on January 8, 1987 (the "Basic <br />Agreement"), pursuant to which City has performed certain professional <br />accounting and financial services for the SBSA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to paragraph 4 of the Basic Agreement, the parties <br />renewed and extended the term and revised the compensation payable under <br />said Agreement pursuant to Amendments thereto dated June 16, 1987, (the <br />"First Amendment"), June 22, 1988 (the "Second Amendment"), June 21, 1989 <br />(the "Third Amendment"), June 18, 1990 (the "Fourth Amendment"), June 19, <br />1991 (the "Fifth Amendment"), July 20, 1992 (the "Sixth Amendment"), June 23, <br />1993 (the "Seventh Amendment"), June 18, 1994 (the "Eighth Amendment), <br />June 29, 1995 (the "Ninth Amendment"), and July 3, 1996 (the 'q'enth <br />Amendment"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parties desire again to renew and extend the term of the <br />Basic Agreement, revise the compensation payable thereunder and revise the <br />notice requirements regarding termination thereof; and <br /> <br />Reso-159 1 <br />G;SharecFRedwood/Council <br />DES:djk <br />03/20/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
