<br />CGM:djg-c 3/10/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 070 <br /> <br />MAR 1 5 1982. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF COUNCIL OF CITY OF P~DWOOD CITY <br />DESIGNATING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLP-,CES AND APPOINTING <br />MEMBERS OF PRECINCT BOARDS FOR GENEFAL MUNICIPAL ELECT- <br />ION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 13, 1982, AND DIRECTING <br />CI':'Y CLERK TO PUBLISH OR ('AUSE TO BE PUBLISHED A NOTICE <br />OF ELECTION, LIST OF ELECTION OFFICERS AND POLLING PLACES <br />AND NOTICE OF NOMINEES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That for the conduct of the general municipal election <br /> <br />to be held in said City on April 13, 1982, the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City shall be divided into 35 precincts as now established of <br /> <br />record by the Board of Supervisors of San Hateo County, State <br /> <br />of California, for general state and county election purposes <br /> <br />ln said City. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 22804 of <br /> <br />the Elections Code, said precincts are consolidated. <br /> <br />2. The identification of the polling places for each precinct <br /> <br />established herein and the election officers appointed to conduct <br /> <br />said election thereat shall be as set forth in "Exhibit A," attached <br /> <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />3. The officers to be elected at said general municipal <br /> <br />election shall be three Councilmen for the full term of four years <br /> <br />each. Propositions to be voted upon at said election are specified <br /> <br />ln Resolution No. 9024, adopted December 14, 1981. <br /> <br />4. The compensation of each of the election officers hereby <br /> <br />appointed, and in full therefor, is hereby fixed as follows: <br /> <br />$47.00 to each inspector and $42.50 to each judge. <br /> <br />5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish or cause to <br /> <br />be published in the San Mateo Times in the time, form and manner <br /> <br />required by law, a notice of election, a list of election officers <br /> <br />and polling places and a notice of nominees for public office. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />907' 0 <br />
