<br />SWC:djg-c 2/18/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. <br /> <br />9056 <br /> <br />OR\G\NAL <br />FEB 22 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO MC GRAW - <br />EDISON SERVICE FOR THE REPAIR OF STORM WATER PUMP <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9032, adopted January <br /> <br />4, 1982, this Council authorized payment for repairs to the <br /> <br />motor of a storm water pump located at the Broadway Pump Station, <br /> <br />such repairs being deemed an emergency because of possible flooding <br /> <br />problems; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, said motor was repaired; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has now determined that <br /> <br />the pump itself requires repairs for the continued functioning <br /> <br />thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because of continuing threat of flooding, the Director <br /> <br />of Public Works determined that such repairs are needed on an <br /> <br />emergency basis; and <br /> <br />VVHEREAS, Mc Graw - Edison Service (formerly ~-vorthington Service) <br /> <br />is providing the skilled services necessary to repair said pump; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, based upon the information presented it, <br /> <br />desires to pay Mc Graw - Edison Service in the sum of Six Thousand <br /> <br />Five Hundred Ninety-five and 06/100 Dollars ($6,595.06) plus tax, <br /> <br />for the repair of the above mentioned pump; <br /> <br />Nm-v, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLmvS: <br /> <br />The city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to pay <br /> <br />Mc Graw- Edison Service in the above mentioned sum for its repair <br /> <br />of the storm water pump. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 056 <br />
