FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />SOIL TESTING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH 1980-81 <br />WATER MAIN REPLACEr'lENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this <br /> <br />Council that expert personal services in the nature of soil <br /> <br />testing services are necessary in connection with the 1980-81 <br /> <br />Water Main Replacement Project for the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has been further advised that Soil <br /> <br />Services, Inc. is experienced in providing such soil testing <br /> <br />services and is willing to enter into an agreement to provide <br /> <br />such services to City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />for its approval pursuant to which Soil Services, Inc. will <br /> <br />provide soil testing services to the City in connection with <br /> <br />its 1980-81 Water Main Replacement Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Soil Services, Inc. entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />2/1/82) attached hereto, is hereby approved, and the city ~lanager <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement, with <br /> <br />attestation by the City Clerk, for anc on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />')-- ... ~ <br />9 0.52 <br />
