<br />CGI'1: djg-c 11/2 7/81 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe 14 1981j~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9023 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PERSONAL SERVICES (REDWOOD CITY UMPIRE'S <br />ASSOCIATION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City requires the services of professional <br /> <br />referees and scorekeepers for its adult basketball leagues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City umpire's Association has represented <br /> <br />to this Council that it is experienced and qualified to perform <br /> <br />such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />for personal services to provide, train, select and schedule referees <br /> <br />and scorekeepers for the adult basketball leagues; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Personal <br /> <br />Services" (form dated 11/27/81) by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Redwood City umpire's Association, a copy of which is <br /> <br />on file in the Office of the City Clerk to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood city. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 023 <br />
