SWC:mf 12/9/81 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9 018 ORIGINAL DEe 14 1981 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR STREET TREE MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8976, adopted October 12, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a contract for street tree maintenance in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution, the City Clerk called for bids for street tree maintenance; and WHEREAS, JAMES R. COX, dba J. COX TREE & LANDSCAPE SERVICE, Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said contract to James R. Cox; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~EDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: I. The bid of James R. Cox, in the amount of Forty-five and No/IOO Dollars ($45.00) per hour, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated October 26, 1981, for the performance of street tree maintenance in the City of Redwood City, California, in accordance with the specifications approved by Resolution No. 8976, is hereby accepted. Any irregularities or informalities that may be contained in said bid are hereby waived. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 12/10/81) between the City of Redwood City and James R. Cox, dba J. Cox Tree and Landscape Service, for performance of said work in accordance with the above mentioned specifications, and in accordance with Contractor's proposal, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in the office of the city Clerk, to which 9 018
