Planning Commission to focus on the traffic, density, and setbacks. Comments were <br />made that density is the future and that it must be determined whether Woodside Road <br />is a transit corridor or auto dependent. <br />M/S Bain /Foust to extend the meeting to 11:50 p.m. The motion passed by a <br />unanimous voice vote by those present. <br />M/S Foust/Bain to refer back to the Planning Commission to amend the Precise Plan to <br />require project access from Woodside Road (not Horgan Avenue) (Alternative 1C); <br />explore options to project height of either four or five stories (Alternative B); and the <br />Planning Commission to consider a smoother transition to the neighborhood. The <br />motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present, with Council <br />Member Hartnett recusing himself due to a conflict of interest in having owned <br />property adjacent to the proposed project. (613) MINUTE ORDER 07 -058 <br />M/S Howard /Bain to extend the meeting to 12:00 p.m. The motion passed by a <br />unanimous voice vote by those present. <br />10. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST — <br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub - section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 12 -2007 and 13 -2007. Council may direct staff to act on <br />positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus <br />available in City Clerk's Department). <br />B. City Council Member Report of Conference /Meeting Attendance <br />C. Mayor Pierce - announced a ribbon cutting occurred in the morning for the shuttle <br />service now in place at the Caltrain station for employees from Seaport, Pacific <br />Shores, and Midpoint Technology Park. <br />D. Council Member Bain — asked that the new parking system data come back to <br />Council soon. <br />11. ADJOURNMENT — 11:55 p.m. <br />M/S Ira /Howard to adjourn until the next City Council meeting of April 23, 2007.
