ORDINANCE 2307 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE "ADMINISTRATION" AND ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 25 OF THE <br />REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE "PARKS AND RECREATION AREAS" <br />(First Reading -April 9, 2007) <br />7.5 Section -Claims and Warrants <br />A. Approve warrants dated through May 7, 2007 and usual and necessary payments <br />through May 21, 2007. MINUTE ORDER 07-075 <br />******************************************************************************************************** <br />7.4 Section -Ordinances (Second Reading -continued) <br />B. ORDINANCE 2309 AMENDING ARTICLE ONE, TWO AND THREE OF CHAPTER 3 OF <br />THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE ADVERTISING AND SIGNS AND SIGNS ON <br />PUBLIC PROPERTY (First Reading -April 23, 2007) <br />M/S Ira/Aguirre to adopt the ordinance. The motion passed by a majority roll call <br />vote with Vice Mayor Foust voting no. <br />8. COMMITTEE REPORTS - <br />A. Housing and Human Concerns Committee (HHCC) 2007/2008 Funding <br />Recommendations for the Human Services Financial Assistance (HSFA) Program <br />HHCC Chair Bondonno explained the process used to prepare the <br />recommendations. <br />Melissa Lukin, Executive Director of CORA, thanked Council for the support on <br />behalf of the clients, Board and staff. She stated that approximately 8,000 calls are <br />handled a year on the hotline and that they know the decisions are difficult. <br />Tippy Irwin thanked the Committee and Council for the support of the Ombudsman <br />services. <br />Recommendation: <br />Direct staff to incorporate the Housing and Human Concerns Committee's <br />recommendations for HSFA for FY 07-08 into the FY 07-08 budget to be presented <br />for review by Council in June.
